PRODUCTION

Multi-screen projection and video installation for Wonderland, the first major exhibition of Annie Leibovitz’s work in Spain. MSP produced and installed three large-scale synchronized projections, managed color across all three to stay true to Leibovitz’s prints, and handled the edit for the exhibition’s video works.

THE EXHIBITION

Wonderland was the first major survey of Leibovitz’s work in Spain, and made her the first woman to headline the MOP Foundation’s exhibition program, following Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, David Bailey, and Steven Meisel. Spanning half a century, the show moved through four sections never before shown together: her 1975 photographs as the Rolling Stones’ tour photographer, Early Years, Stream of Consciousness, and finally Wonderland, more than 100 fashion photographs, many never exhibited or even printed before.

“I held on to my fashion photographs over the years because I wasn’t sure where they belonged. Then I came to understand that all the pictures belong together.”
Annie Leibovitz
